Director Vishal Bhardwaj's much awaited film Kaminey was launched this Friday. The star cast of Kaminney includes Shahid Kapoor (Jab We Met Actor), Priyanka Chopra, Eric Santos, Amole Gupte and others. Kaminey has been written, directed and produced by Vishal Bhardwaj. Music is also composed by Vishal Bhardwaj only.

Kaminey Synopsis : Simply put, Kaminey is the story of two contrasting paths to achieve the original Mumbai dream- from rags to riches. Guddu and Charlie are identical twins, born and raised in Dharavi, the world's largest slum, in the heart of Mumbai.

Guddu chooses the honest, yet much trodden track. He works as a trainee in a small NGO firm in the city. His ambitions are limited to being at a lofty position on the corporate ladder, and be part of the budding Indian middle class. He knows the path ahead is not rosy, but he is prepared to work for it.

Kaminey Reviews : The film steps on the gas to reaches one hell of a climax! Shahid Kapur’s double take--the lisping Charlie and the stuttering Guddu--is the main stay of the film and is matched step for step by Priyanka Chopra’s spoilt Sweety.

The entire cast stands up and delivers especially Chandan Roy Sanyal as Mikhail. Written and directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, Kaminey has some excellent scenes like the cops forcing a stuttering Guddu to sing and spill the beans on his brother or the one where Charlie interrogates the jockey as the three Bengali brothers fire bullets while testing some weapons.
