Offlate beautiful Punjabi kudi (girl) Surveen Chawla has been on a promotional spree of her upcoming Bollywood debut movie, Hate Story 2. Its common knowledge that Hate Story 2 is a sequel to 2012 erotic thriller Hate Story starring Pauli Dam, Gulshan Devaiya and Nikhil Dwivedi in the main lead. Directed by famous director Vikram Bhatt, Hate Story 2 releases tomorrow on 18th July 2014.

Alia Bhatt gets emotional after wrapping up 2 States | Upcoming movies

Actress Alia Bhatt is emotional after wrapping up the filming of "2 States". Father-filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt tried to comfort her with his encouraging words.

"Last day of '2 States’! It's been beautiful and exciting. Will miss playing the Ananya Swaminathan. Too emotional today,” Alia tweeted Sunday.

Dad Mahesh Bhat encouraged her by replying to her post: “My experience says that when the principal actor 'weeps' when a film is over, the maker smiles. This means your film is a hit.”

Alia Bhatt, who will be seen as a Tamil Iyengar girl in the movie, based on Chetan Bhagat's novel "2 States: The Story of My Marriage", hopes to weep for sure.

“Well I hope I weep today then like I always do. Love you,” posted the actress.

Directed by Abhishek Verman, the story is about a Punjabi boy (Arjun Kapoor) who falls in love with a Tamil girl (Alia Bhatt), and the ensuing cultural clashes between them and their families.

Spotted Alia Bhatt on the sets of Highway movie in Kashmir

Director Imtiaz Ali's latest episode of "Highway Diaries", short video snippets capturing the journey of his upcoming film "Highway", being shot in six states, presents the crew's activities in Kashmir.

In the latest episode of Highway Diaries titled "Songs of the Valley", the director is seen with folk singer Begum Jaan and her group.



He looks engrossed in their music while shooting for "Highway" with Randeep Hooda and Alia Bhatt at Aru valley in Kashmir.

"...while it (the episode) should connect with the larger experience that Veera (Alia's character) has in the film, it should still be about that time and place and its music," Ali said in a statement.

Presented by Sajid Nadiadwala, the film captures the landscape of the various regions in the country. 

The crew has already shot in Jammu, Delhi, Punjab and Himachal Pradesh and will bring it to the audience when it will come out Feb 21 next year. 


Highway release date: 21st February, 2014
