Singham (2011) Hindi Movie Review

Singham movie review: This Singham will roar strictly for masses!

When angry young man of Zanjeer meets brave heart Dabangg meets Gangajal’s honest cop - what you get is Singham, another-larger- than-life hero, ready for some serious baddie bashing. Director Rohit Shetty’s ‘Singham’ will roar for sure, but strictly for the masses!

USPs of this remake of Tamil ‘Singam’ are going to be the heavy duty dialogues and over-the-top action sequences. However, don’t get surprised with an all pervasive Dabangg effect in movie, be it in the way Devgn fights off ten goondas in one go, his shirtless stint or the title song shout of the striking similarities. [Hud Hud Dabangg and Singham]

If you enjoy high-octane action without any adulteration and seetimar dialogues, Singham is for you. If you are looking out for a slick sophisticated movie, Singham is not for you. It's as simple as that.

Decide for yourself, grab your tub of pop corn and there you go...lights, camera, action...after all it’s totally filmy!

2011 Movie Reviews: Singham Music Review

That funny looking promo you see on your telly tube where Ajay Devgn is fiendishly squeezing imaginary lemons in a dance-step to prepare a cocktail spiked with ‘tiger’s blood’ if you must, after lending your ears to the roar in the back score of Singham’s eponymous title track is ga-ga-gruff stud-muffin stuff.

Saathiyaa, the second song, sung by Shreya Ghoshal, accompanied by Ajay.

You’ll have to see the film to register the music. Till then, let the grass grow around you. Which song appeal you?
