9 Bollywood Sequels Ready to storm the Box Office in 2015

Welcome Back

Filmmaker Annes Bazmee, after the box-office sixes of his 2007 comedy Welcome, is back with the film's sequel. While Anil Kapoor and Nana Patekar reprise their roles from the original flick and Paresh Rawal plays a new charterer in the third installment, the rest of the cast includes John Abraham, Dimple Kapadia and Shruti Haasan. The film will release on 29th May.






ABCD 2

Remo D'Souza's 2013 dance film, ABCD, will have its sequel this year. The choreographer-turned-director's project will have current heartthrobs Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor as the leading couple, whereas Prabhudheva, Lauren Gottlieb, Dharmesh Yelande, and Puneet Pathak are in supporting roles. The 3D Dance film will release on 19th June.








No Entry Mein Entry

Salman Khan will be seen in double roles in the sequel to Anees Bazmee's 2005 comedy, No Entry. Anil Kapoor and Fardeen Khan too will feature in it, from the original film. Though the film's release date is not out yet, No Entry Mein Entry is expected to open in cinema halls later this year.








Tanu Weds Manu Returns

The sequel to director Anand L Rai's 2011 hit rom-com, Tanu Weds Manu, is all set to release on 12th June this year. R Madhavan, Kangana Ranaut and Jimmy Shergill reprise their roles from the prequel. Kangana plays double roles in it – one as Tanu from the original movie, and the other as a Haryanavi athlete.







Housefull 3

While Sajid Khan was at the helm of the first two parts of the Housefull series, director duo Sajid-Farhad will be taking the charge of Housefull 3. Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh and Abhishek Bachchan will be in key roles in it. The film's release date is not confirmed yet, but it is most likely to release in 2015.







Hera Pheri 3

Neeraj Vora's Hera Pheri 3 will star Paresh Rawal, Suniel Shetty, John Abraham and Abhishek Bachchan in the lead.







Don 3

The third installment of Farhan Akhtar's successful franchise, Don 3 will also have Shah Rukh Khan in the title role.








Devil

Don't get puzzled; Devil will be the sequel to Sajid Nadiadwala's 2014 box-office blockbuster, Kick. Salman Khan will play the male lead in this one also.








OMG – Oh My God 2

While Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal played the key roles in the 2012 satirical comedy, the duo will be co-producing its sequel.

'Lai Bhaari' moment at 66th Republic Day parade, Riteish and Genelia Deshmukh thrilled

Actor-producer Riteish Deshmukh and his wife Genelia are happy that the “Mauli Mauli” song from their Marathi production “Lai Bhaari” was used to represent the tableau of Maharashtra at the 66th Republic Day parade in the capital Monday.


While "Lai Bhaari" marked Riteish's debut in the Marathi movie space, the movie is produced by Genelia.


“As a producer of Lai Bhari - thrilled that 'Mauli' song was used 2 represent D State of Maharashtra. @BarackObama 's first Marathi song-hehe,” Genelia tweeted.







For Riteish, it was a proud moment.

Directed by Nishikant Kamat, "Lai Bhaari" also features Sharad Kelkar and Aditi Pohankar.


Sonakshi Sinha Becomes the 1st Indian Actor to photoshoot with Ace Photographer Maul Gohel for FTV!

Gorgeous Sonakshi Sinha who is loved by the audiences for her beauty has become the first Indian actor to shoot with world famous photographer Maul Gohel for FTV.






Maul Gohel, has been awarded as Best Photographer for Fashion, Advertising & Contemporary by Fashion TV Photographer's Award at Cannes Film Festival 2013.


A source close to the team said, ‘Maul is a brilliant photographer and he shot Sonakshi with a very different approach. She looks outstanding in his photographs. Maul will be shooting with many other Indian actors but he wanted to shoot with Sonakshi first as she has a natural Indian beauty. In fact, he is one of the very few photographers who does not use Photoshop for editing his pictures. The concept around the shoot is called ‘SHE’ which captures Sonakshi Sinha’s fearless nature and it has been very well appreciated abroad.’







Well, she seems to be the first of the lucky girls from our film industry to have shot with him and from what we hear, she can't stop beaming either!


Jyothika Wraps up her Tamil comeback 'How Old Are You' Remake

The shooting of yet-untitled Tamil remake of Malayalam hit movie "How Old Are You", which stars actress Jyothika in a comeback role, has been wrapped up.

The movie is expected to release in the summer 2015.







"The film's shoot started in Delhi and has been wrapped up in 46 days. The last shot was called in Shollinganallur here last week. The post-production work is currently underway and the makers are planning to release the film during March or April," read a statement.









Directed by Roshan Andrrews, who helmed the original, the film is produced by actor Suriya under his home banner 2D Entertainment.








The film also stars Rahman, Abhirami and Sanjay Bharati in important roles.







Suriya has also bought the film's remake rights in all languages and has plans to remake it in Hindi as well as Kannada.
