On Friendship Day, Sunday, the Bollywood celebrities talk about their friends and their role in their lives. Here is what they have to say:

Jackie Shroff: My best pal is Anees (Bazmee), who never allows life to bog him down and whom I've never seen wallowing in self-pity. In the film industry, my best friend is Danny Denzongpa. He is totally devoid of any hidden agendas in a life. A truly free-spirited soul.

Prabhudheva: For me, every single day is Friendship Day. I thank god for the gift of close friends who have been with me for years and will be with me even when I am no longer known in the entertainment industry. I have three best friends. One of them I've known for 37 years, the other two for 30 years. They are as important to me as the air that I breathe

Prosenjit Chatterjee: On Friendship Day I miss my closest friend this year. Rituparno Ghosh was not just a filmmaker for me, he was my friend, philosopher and guide for 20 years. His going away has left me stunned and desolate.

Poonam Pandey: My best friend is Pranita. We are very close. There is not a thing that we don't know about each another. The two of us have done really wacky things together.

Minissha Lamba: My best friend is Ashi, who has been a support through thick and thin. Over the years, we've learnt a lot from each another. We've seen each other grow from our humble beginnings to well-grounded adults.

Shiamak Davar: My best friend is Zareer. He is a chef and I've known him for 25 years. He is the most talented and funniest pal I have. He is an outstanding cook and he makes me the best Parsi food. Because of his love for food, he is extremely overweight (don't want to call my friend fat) and still as light on his feet as he is in spirit.

Rs. 83.73, people would unanimously agree that just like the superstar's  Eid releases like “Wanted" and "Ek Tha Tiger"which turned out to be super hits, this movie will also do wonders at the box office.  Filmmaker Surender Reddy, who is the creator of the original "Kick" in Telugu, feels the Hindi remake didn't do justice to his film or Salman Khan. He says the makers of the remake didn't understand the spirit of the original.

"Watched the Hindi remake of 'Kick'. It definitely does not do justice to our original movie or to Salman. 'Kick' would have been the biggest movie ever for Salman if the makers understood the spirit of 'Kick'," Surender posted on his Facebook page.

Produced and directed by Sajid Nadiadwala, "Kick" also features Jacqueline Fernandez, Randeep Hooda, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Mithun Chakraborty and Saurabh Shukla in important roles.

Sonam Kapoor Shares her stand about Rekha in Khoobsurat - Class Apart!

Actress Sonam Kapoor, who has stepped into Rekha's shoes for the "Khubsoorat" remake, says she is not even a patch on the senior actress who is still remembered for effortlessly playing the chirpy and carefree girl in the original.

In the Khoobsurat remake, Sonam will be seen romancing Pakistani heartthrob Fawad Afzal Khan which releases on September 19, 2014.

"I don't think I can do justice to anything Rekha has done," said Sonam and added that for her it was more important to be part of a film that has some meaning and message.

Directed by Shashanka Ghosh, the new "Khoobsurat" has been produced by Sonam's dad Anil Kapoor and sister Rhea under their banner Anil Kapoor's Film Company Pvt. Ltd.

"These days very few films means something, have great values and at the same time they are lots of fun. Hrishikesh Mukherjee was one of the last few directors who made films like 'Guddi', 'Mili' and 'Khubsoorat' that actually had the vibes which appealed to everybody, had a message and was happy and fun film."

"Those kind of films Rajkumar Hirani is making these days and 'Khoobsurat' is one of the other one, which I am part of," said the 29-year-old.

Good cinema doesn't have to be dark or depressing.

"I don't think good film is something that is dark or dying one, I think it can be light also. We are going through too much in India and cinema has always been my happy space and this is my ode to Hrishikesh Mukherjee," said the "Khoobsurat" actress.

Have you shown the trailer to Rekha?

"Rekha is very close to my family. She had even seen 'Aisha' and we had kept a separate trailer launch for her. For this film too, we are going to show her the trailer.
