Review: Salman Khan in Dabangg as Chulbul Pandey

Dabangg Synopsis storyline: Dabangg is a story of a corrupt but fearless cop Chulbul Pandey (Salman Khan). The film deals with the illegitimate practices in the states of UP and Bihar.

Set in Laalgurj, Uttar Pradesh, Dabangg is a story of Chulbul Pandey (Salman Khan), a totally fearless but corrupt police officer with unorthodox working methods. But even the most fearless at times face a tough fight with their innermost demons. Chulbul has had a bitter childhood. His father passed away when he was very young after which his mother Naini (Dimpla Kapadia) married Prajapati Pandey (Vinod Khanna). Together, they had a son Makhanchan (Arbaaz Khan). Prajapati favors Makhanchan which does not go down well with Chulbul. He decides to take control of his destiny and detaches himself from his stepfather and half brother.


Dabangg movie review: Robin Hood Pandey aka Chulbul Pandey (Salman Khan) is one crazy cop you don’t want to cross paths with. Pandeyji doesn’t care about the law or the poor or the rich or even himself as long as he gets to kick the bad guys, crack jokes and make oodles of money on the side. His life is all about loving his mother (Dimple Kapadia), hating his step father (Vinod Khanna) and avoiding his dumb half brother Makhi (Arbaaz Khan). Pandey falls in love with Rajjo (Sonakshi Sinha), a local potter woman but she doesn’t reciprocate her feelings as openly as her fearless or ‘dabangg’ suitor and tells him in no uncertain terms that she can’t marry him as long as her drunkard father (Mahesh Manjrekar) lives.

New Face of Beauty & Fear - Mallika aka Sheena Nayyar

Producer Pappee Sangtani hosted a party of Film MALLIKA at Vie Lounge on August 17th 2010. Film has been produced by PPC Horrotainment in association with Glorious Entertainment and is scheduled for release on September 3rd, 2010.

Sheena Nayyar who is being introduced on the silver screen in this horror thriller was too present at the event; dressed in red Sheena was all smiles and in high spirits talking about her launch film - Mallika.

She was heard saying it feels good and I have put in my best in this film and to sum it all up; director Wilson Louis who was also present in this party could not stop praising the debutant - Sheena Nayyar and he stated: 'come September Bollywood will see new face of beauty & fear.'
